Back for the third, consecutive year, SEM spearheaded this industry-wide charitable program in the Los Angeles, CA community. SEM provided pre-production and on-site services, including program design; supply coordination; volunteer recruitment/coordination; celebrity recuritment/handling; press coordination and fundraising.
Booth Highlight
• Raised more than $225,000 in cash, equipment and in-kind donations for the cause. • Mobilized over 245 volunteers in the two-day initiative. • More than 800 man hours of hands-on volunteer support were provided to A Place Called Home (APCH), a youth community center located in South Central LA. • Through donations of computers, supplies and athletic equipment APCH was able to revitalize several programs in their center. • Served hot meals to 1,000 homeless men, women and children.
